Meeting with the Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the countries of South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia A. Szabados
A. Saidov, Director of the National Human Rights Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with IOM Regional Director for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia A. Szabadosh.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the IOM.
During the meeting, A. Sabadosh was informed about the main activities of the Center in the field of migration, in particularly with IOM.
Discussing the issues on the further development of the Center’s cooperation with IOM, the parties identified the main areas of cooperation, in particular, conducting awareness-raising events among parliamentarians, representatives of state structures and civil society institutions, preparing and publishing literature on migration issues, etc.
The meeting was held in a constructive spirit.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the IOM.
