Paulina joined the human rights education and training team in OHCHR’s Methodology, Education, and Training Section (METS) in June 2019. Previously, she worked with UNHCR Indonesia in Jakarta, where she focused on the issue of detention of children and protection of asylum-seekers detained in Indonesia. She has led many capacity-building activities focusing on refugee rights for various stakeholders across the country, including government officials, human rights lawyers, and civil society organizations and has been involved in various advocacy work to ensure better protection of refugees and asylum-seekers, particularly children, in Indonesia.

Paulina has a law degree, with a focus on international law, from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) in Indonesia as well as a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the United Kingdom.
