Adviser on Youth and Security in Office of the OSCE Secretary General
Anastasia has been working with the OSCE in different capacities since 2015. At ODIHR, she worked on a project on the protection of human rights defenders, developing capacity building activities on human rights monitoring and security, advocacy and networking events, and looking into the use of technology in human rights work.
Later Anastasia served as adviser to the 2018 OSCE Italian Chairmanship on the human dimension, and she negotiated the Ministerial Council decision on the safety of journalists that was successfully adopted in Milan. In 2019, she served as adviser at the Italian Delegation to the OSCE and provided support to the Troika, including by dealing with the Informal Working Group on Civil Society Participation in OSCE events. Previously she worked for NGOs, where she developed projects on youth social inclusion, prevention of torture in places of deprivation of liberty, and non-discrimination of people living with HIV.
Anastasia holds a Master’s degree in diplomacy and conflict resolution from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve.
