Head of the Director‘s Office /Senior Political Adviser to the Director of the OSCE Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODHIR)

Ambassador Gréta Gunnarsdóttir, born and raised in Reykjavík has been in the Icelandic Foreign Service since 1988. She represented Iceland as Ambassador in Vienna and as Ambassador to the United Nations in New York. She spent many years in Brussels both at the Icelandic Mission to the EU as well as a member of the International Staff of NATO in the Political Department. She also spent a couple of years working for UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) in Jerusalem. Greta is currently residing in Warsaw where she is the Head of the Director‘s Office /Senior Political Adviser to the Director of the OSCE Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODHIR). Having lived in many countries and cities around the world, Gréta has a very international outlook and experience.
