Jefferson R. Plantilla works at the Asia-Pacific Human Rights Information Center (HURIGHTS OSAKA). He focuses on the regional program of HURIGHTS OSAKA which includes research (multi-country research projects on human rights and social development, culture, education, law and business; also special projects such as human rights centers in Asia-Pacific database), publication (Human Rights Education in Asia-Pacific – annual publication, FOCUS Asia-Pacific – quarterly newsletter, research reports [Law, Jurisprudence and Human Rights in Asia, Bridging Human Rights Principles and Business Realities in Northeast Asia] and training materials [Business, Human Rights and Northeast Asia – A Facilitator’s Training Manual]), and activities (such as workshops and conferences). He attends as a resource person various human rights workshops and conferences being organized by institutions in other countries in Asia. He is also a member of the International Editorial Advisory Board, Human Rights Education and Review (University of South-Eastern  Norway) (2018 – present).
