A collection “Organization of Turkic States and Parliaments of the Member States” prepared

The Parliamentary Research Institute under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a roundtable discussion on “Organization of Turkic states: yesterday and today”.

Speaking at the event, First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Akmal Saidov noted that the development of relations with the Turkic countries is an important aspect of New Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.

The presentation of the collection “Organization of Turkic States and Parliaments of the Member States” took place at the event.

“The Organization of Turkic States is an effective regional structure that supports the development of practical partnerships in trade, investment, innovation, transport, tourism, cultural and humanitarian exchange”, the Director of the Parliamentary Research Institute under the Oliy Majlis, Doctor of Law, Professor Foziljon Otakhonov said in his speech at the presentation of the collection. – Therefore, strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the OTS for all member states of this organization, including Uzbekistan, serves to develop multilateral relations with neighboring countries and new partners outside the region. This collection, developed by our institute, will undoubtedly become an important practical guide not only for members of the national parliament, but also for scientific researchers in parliamentary law, professors and students of higher education institutions.

At the event, it was proposed to translate the collection into other foreign languages ​​and send it to Turkic-speaking countries.
