1. State authorities, NHRIs and civil society reaffirmed their commitment to the promotion and protection of human rights – as laid out in the UDHR, international human rights treaties and standards while implementing the 2030 Agenda;

2. The Forum offered a platform for an open and constructive discussion about the role of different branches of power, NHRIs and civil society in ensuring the protection of human rights in the Asian region;

3. Concrete steps were agreed upon on how to strengthen cooperation of civil society with various branches of power, NHRIs and the mass media with the ultimate aim to ensure effective human rights protection in the process of attaining the sustainable development goals;
